The Oasis of the Little Warriors of Light was created to give life to a place where children of all nationalities can learn the wisdom that humanity has acquired along its path towards Nature, art and construction, discovering the love towards physical and spiritual awareness.
An Oasis where the teachers are present only to invite the students to fall in love with the various activities and to stimulate their curiosity through play and direct experimentation.
The Oasis is a place of peace, mutual respect and sharing where you can rediscover yourself and love for the world around us.
A place that protects and feeds the light of children so that one day they can bring the Light into their every choice and be able to improve the world starting from themselves.

Where is the Oasis?
Our Multicultural Oasis is located in Dindefelo, a village located in the hinterland of Senegal on the border with Mali and Guinea Conakry.
The small Oasis is being born at the foot of a mountain, in the forest, near a large waterfall.

An open oasis
This Oasis is open to children and families of all nationalities to give them an experience in an eco-sustainable world in harmony with art and nature.

How our project was born
This project started in 2018 during the making of a documentary about Senegal, which allowed us to get in touch with the village of Dindefelo. After the documentary we returned to Europe with the thought of wanting to do something in that magical village and in 2021 we returned and planted the first seed by purchasing 12 Djembés through a fundraising. This initiative has given birth to dance and music along the paths throughout the village.
The energy of these children surprised us to such an extent that it gave us the idea of creating a special place! A true Oasis of life, not only for the children of the village of Dindefelo and the surrounding villages, but also for children from all over the world who want to have educational and unique experiences in a place full of Life and Energy.
In the eyes of the children of the Dindefelu village we saw the light that illuminated our path. Our call has become so strong that we have decided to listen to it and act in harmony with our Heart

Subjects
The subjects that will be taught will be:
– Music of any ethnicity played by acoustic instruments.
– Free dance that combines styles from all over the world.
– Naturopathy: knowledge of medicinal herbs, manual, sound and meditation therapies.
– Agriculture according to the methods of permaculture and synergistic agriculture.
– Bioconstruction according to the techniques of all the ancestral peoples of humanity.
– Languages to be taught and transmitted through the Theatre.
– Philosophy to teach how careful reflections can lead to solutions full of wisdom.

Teaching methods
Each subject will be taught in a way that children can be free to attend and participate in the teachings according to their own interests. Within each subject there will be total freedom of expression and experimentation. Our goal is to make children fall in love with the activities they themselves choose to experience and create new styles, new thoughts and new methods through their imagination.
The teachers will be present only to make the children fall in love with the discipline that they themselves will practice inside the Oasis. Each teacher will have to work with passion on their subject and on themselves.
Every weekend an assembly will be held among the teachers to coordinate their work in an increasingly constructive way in harmony with the needs of the children and to make the environment increasingly rich in art and a spirit of collaboration.

What we offer families.
For families from all over the world, we offer a guided Oasis experience in every detail. From arrival in Senegal until their departure.
Families can stay short or long periods depending on the availability of living spaces.
Our intention is to offer the children of the families, an experience in which they are completely involved by the great vitality of all the alievi of the Oasis. They will eat together with them, they will carry out the various workshops in total freedom accompanied by the most responsible children of the Oasis. It will be a real contact with the energy that is breathed in Africa, full of joy, colors and vivacity.
In this way, the guest children will be able to have an intense experience in contact with the culture of an authentic world still anchored to the roots of the earth.
They will be able to discover what life is like when you all live and play together, so that in their lives they can have a greater understanding of human roots.
We believe that this Oasis is the paradise that every LITTLE WARRIOR OF LIGHT must know and live. In such a way that hope is ignited that, once they grow up, they will reproduce such paradises dedicated to children from all over the world.

– 5 teachers’ houses. (To be built – the cost varies depending on the type)
– 1 stage that will host dance performances and concerts. (To be built – the cost varies depending on the type)
– 3 clay and straw workshops (ceramic, wood, and iron). (300 under construction € per workshop)
– 1 chicken coop. (Cost 400 € under construction)
– Well. (The price varies depending on the depth of the water / from 3000 to 8000 € – to be made)
– Photovoltaic system. (to be made – the cost varies depending on the type)
– Hydraulic system. (To be built – the cost varies depending on the type)
– Synergistic Garden. (to be created)
The interior design of each structure and space will be made with natural components in an artistic and traditional way.
All structures will be built with natural materials such as: Stone, wood, earth, clay, straw, bamboo.
We will meticulously take care of the aesthetic details so that the Oasis can become a place full of works of art along the paths.
The synergistic garden will be elegantly done and will be a source of food for the Oasis’s inhabitants, guests, and the entire village.
